“I’ve always worked in a family business and I believe it’s brought out the best in me. I care about everyone just like I would any family member”
– Scott Robinson, President

Scott Robinson was born into the millwork industry. As a high school student, he started working at his grandfather’s manufacturing company in 1981 in an entry level position. Scott worked his way up from the floor to designer, engineer, estimator, and project manager.

After 75 years in the business, his father sold the family company. An opportunity arose in 1990 and Scott joined Bob Silcott at Concepts in Millwork. Under Bob’s leadership, Scott put to work everything he’d been taught.

“We do our best to service our customers with a sense of family and we tell it like it is, even when it’s hard. We strive to meet our commitments no matter what it takes. ”

Since taking over day-to-day operations from Bob Silcott, Scott’s business philosophy preserves Concept’s focus on building lasting value and relationships. He continues to emphasize the company’s key components of quality craftsmanship and customer service as the basis for success.
